Trimming Gardenia Bush
I have a gardenia that used to be a topiary tree, so a few years ago I planted it in the ground and have never trimmed it. Needless to say, it is now very gangly. I know I should not trim it now before it blooms, but we stay in Florida until the middle of April, so I will have to trim it before I go home. So how do I do it---cut it to the ground or what?
