We have a maple tree in our back yard that is losing it’s leaves – they just got leafed out and they are falling off – lots of them! What would cause this?

I'm sorry your maple tree is losing its leaves! Keep in mind if you had a recent cold spell, that "could" very well be the simple answer, and the tree will still be fine, but if you aren't able to diagnose the problem yourself, you may want to consult a local arborist.
