Tree

My tree, which I planted about two years ago, seems to be having problems. I checked under the bark that’s around the tree and found it to have a lot of stringy white roots that look like real fine spaghetti and it is a lot of it. Could this have something to do with it and how do I get rid of it? I have two trees and the other is doing fine.

There is a white string fungus that lives in decomposing mulch. It poses no threat to the tree. To be certain, I suggest taking a sample to your local agricultural extension office.
