Tree Without Leaves

I have a white dogwood tree that is two years old. The deer have eaten all the leaves and there are no spring buds. However, the branches are still green. What can I do to help it along? Is there a way to encourage new growth? I know without leaves the tree will die.

It should recover on its own, though you probably won’t have any blooms this year. The following articles should be of some help to you:
