Tree Start – Survive The Winter Inside House Or On Deck Outside?

I had Arbor Foundation send me trees after a notation last December. Left them in the bag and dropped on the deck. This summer I opened it up and there was one stem that had a couple leaves on it. I potted it and put it on my deck this summer. It blossomed great and had about 20 leaves on it. It started getting cold and I still had left it on the deck. I thought it would be too cold for it as it was so young, so I brought it inside the house. Now the three leaves that were still on it, has dried up and fallen off. Is the house too warm for it or is it just getting used to being inside? Should I put it back on the deck, or in the garage or leave it near the window in the house? I would hate to see it die off since it was becoming around so beautifully. Please help!!! Thanks Sharon

I am unable to determine what kind of tree that is from your photo. I won't be able to give much information on what kind of care it will require but I can point you to an article that will help you with the general care of container grown trees. This will help:
