Tree roots in my garden

I am a keen gardener and just bought a house. Sycamore trees growing around six of them have roots all over my garden. How do I get rid of them, please?

Thanks
Emma

There are a couple of options that will depend on whether you intend to only try to control the roots and keep the trees, or remove the trees completely. You can find more information about tree root problems here: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/tgen/problem-tree-roots.htm [1]
