Q.Tree Pruning?

Zone 9 | spongebob39 added on October 3, 2012 | Answered

I have a small golden splendor (cassia) tree that is approx 3 feet tall. It has split into 2 straight trunks about 8 inches from the ground. Should I cut off one of the trunks?

That is really up to you. It is more of an aesthetic choice than one for the health of the tree. You can remove one, if you don't want 2 trunks, but the tree will be fine too if you leave them both.
