Tree Leaves Being Eaten

Hi, I planted a kwanzan cherry tree in May. Something has been munching on it’s leaves. The leaves are still green, without any yellowing. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, without catching the insect in the act, it can be very hard to say. Many insects cause this exact damage.
