Can you recommended a good tree for a container?

Situation: In the front of the house there is a corner (corner of garage of house) where the electric meter is located, which is about 44″ high. The area is about 7 ft tall but we would place the container about 3-4 ft from the corner, in a container 30 in high/wide, and the area gets morning sun and stays sunny. We are try to detract view from the electric meter but it still has to be seen for the reader. Thank you for you help.

It sounds like you may want to go with a dwarf or ornamental variety. This article may help you:
