Q.Tree identity

Zone 77626 | KadyLou added on March 16, 2018 | Answered

I can’t find it on here now but on March 1st posted a pic of a tree I’m trying to get a positive ID on so that I can find out all about it. Michigan Dot answered that it looked like a crabapple but hard to make positive ID with no leaves on it. In just 2 weeks time it now has leaves. Sorry the full tree pic is sideways. I also took a closeup of the leaves if that helps. Any info is greatly appreciated.

This does appear to be a crabapple. I would have to agree with the other answer on this one. This collection of articles can help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/crabapple/
