transplanting iris

A friend gave me some transplants last summer which I planted with great success. They were dying to be relocated and seem to like my yard although it is somewhat shady. Now I would like to move them to “creek side” a short distance away or do I need to wait two more summers? Is one year too soon to move again?

You can go ahead and move them this year if you want. Just follow the guidelines in this article: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/bulbs/iris/dividing-transplanting-iris.htm [1]
