Transplanting Butterfly Bush

Question

Help! I had to relocate a 1 yr. old butterfly plant and it is a disaster! Obviously, it is in such shock that I am afraid it is a goner. The plant (approx. 3′ tall) looks like wilted lettuce. Please give me some advice on how to save it — the plant was given to me as a gift. I don’t want to give up on it.
