Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI am trying to transplant my honeysuckle out of its pot into a planter area. The root ball is deeper than the area where I want to put it. Is it possible to cut off the bottom of the root ball without hurting the plant?

There should be soil below the rootball in the new location so its roots have somewhere to grow, but you can trim the roots before planting. Here is how:
