transplanting a gardenia

Zone 95032 | gardeneremeritus added on June 18, 2017 | Answered

A gardenia has been in a pot for so many years that the root ball is showing above the soil. How best to deal with this. We could transplant it when bloom time is over. It actually ha a bloom and two, possibly three buds.
