transplanting

I transplanted my basil. Now the leaves are droopy. Did I overwater it?

Droopy leaves after transplanting are very common, and the plant will likely recover if it’s watered every day until it is established:

Overwatering is less likely with plants planted in the ground, unless your drainage is quite poor. In that case you would see water puddling and taking a long time to soak into the soil.
