Transfer Lemon Tree From Container To Ground

I would like to transfer my lemon tree from a container to in-ground. The weather has been rather cool and rainy. Is it okay to transfer it now, or should I wait until it gets a little warmer? I would like to replant it this spring ASAP. Many thanks in advance and have a great day!
