Magnolia Trees

toxic plants/trees

Zone 7555 HL | backtoindia added on April 2, 2016 | Answered

Is "Magnolia Susan" toxic? I found this site which claims it is extremely toxic (in the last part of the article). All other sites claim all magnolia sorts are ok apart from some remarks on Southern Magnolia. I am worried for my pets...I already planted the tree.

Magnolia Susan is a cross between Magnolia Stellata and Magnolia Nigra.

ASPCA lists this plant as non toxic to cats and dogs.
