Q.Topiaries winter care

Anonymous added on November 30, 2014 | Answered

I have a 4 ft flamingo topiary covered with moss and pink sedum. It is cute! What should I do for winter care? Put in basement? Water well and cover up outside? I really don’t have space in my garden room.

I think that it would have a better chance outdoors than in the basement. Place it near the foundation of your house and then cover the base with leaves or straw and then wrap the entire thing in burlap or an old blanket. Do not use plastic. I can't guarantee it will survive, but this will give it the best chance.
