You may want to wait till they dry out a bit if the rain has stressed them out, or at least give them half of the recommended dose until they have bounced back from the rainy conditions. You may also want to look into a slow release fertilizer, like Osmocote, where you can fertilize once and then not worry about it for the rest of the season.
