Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy daughter’s tomato plant (just recently planted) leaves are turning yellow. The first problem was that she took off all the lower leaves, then planted just the root ball in the ground, leaving a large empty stem to the leaves on the top. She forgot my instructions to plant them either deep or on the side. Now the few lower leaves left on the plant are turning yellow with some black spots also. Is there a remedy she can achieve before her 48 plants succumb?

I am sorry, but it sounds like you may have blight. Here is more information on that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/tomato/early-blight-alternaria-tomato-leaf-spots-yellow-leaves.htm [1]
