Q.tomatoes

Anonymous added on August 1, 2015 | Answered

My tomatoes are growing nice but when they start turning red, they are completely rotted on the bottom of the tomato. The top looks good but when I go to pick it, it’s rotted on the bottom. Am I using too much fertilizer or too much Miracle Grow? I water them almost daily.

It sounds like you may have some blossom end rot, which is most often a calcium deficiency issue. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/tomato/tomato-blossom-rot.htm
