Tomato Fungus

I’m trying to get some more production out of my tomato plants. They have been hit by a fungus, 60% to 70% of the plant is brown. I sprayed with a recommended fungicide about a week ago. I believe that I should remove most of the damaged parts of the plants, give it a good dose of water, then spray again with the fungicide and see were that gets me. Is this the right course of action?

It won’t hurt to do that, but are you sure that it is a fungus? It sounds like that it might be a bacteria as well. Perhaps early blight: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/tomato/early-blight-alternaria-tomato-leaf-spots-yellow-leaves.htm [1]
