Q.Tomato Cages

Anonymous added on August 23, 2011 | Answered

Next year I am planning to build cages for my tomato plants and am looking at fencing material with a 6-inch opening. I would like to know what the diameter of the cages should be.

I think anywhere from 18-24 inch diameter should work, depending on the type and size of your tomatoes. Here is an article that you may find helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/tomato/making-tomato-cages.htm
