Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a window box that a toad loves to burrow in. I have pushed him out several times, but he keeps coming back. I would be happy to have him live there, but he has uprooted several of my flowering plants. Is there anything I can put on the surface which will repel him or keep him from burrowing in? Would moth balls work?

People are starting to avoid using mothballs in their garden due to studies that show they may be carcinogenic. Your best bet would be relocation. Catch and move the toad to a nearby park.
