Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comSome time ago, I asked and was answered that the reproductive organs on my Foxtail Palm trees would fall off when they were done blooming. They did not. My question is if they don’t fall off on their own, can I cut them off safely? They are pretty ugly at this point. Thank you.

Yes, you can cut them off. They will fall off naturally, and it will take some time, but cutting them off will not pose any harm. You may even take an extra measure and wipe the cut spots with peroxide to be sure that an infection does not set in. Otherwise, there will be no issue cutting them off.
