Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI live in Southern Ca and have a 7 ft red Edge Dracaena which I keep out doors, in a pot. The tips of the leaves are turning brown ( dying ). I keep the soil moist and it gets about a third of a day of sun. I have tried the plant in doors where it does not get direct sunlight with no real difference. Any ideas on what I should do.

These can be quite sensitive to any change in temperature or humidity, as well as overwatering. I would make sure that the top 2 or 3 inches of soil dry, completely, between waterings. Another big problem is fluoride in water. This will cause browning in leaves, since this plant is quite sensitive to fluoride.
