Q.Tiny blue flowers all over the lawn

Pennyannhall added on July 20, 2016 | Answered

Went to visit a friend in Basingstoke and she cannot identify the tiny blue flowers on her lawn and they have now spread to her flower beds! I think they look very much like a forget me not but much tinier and without the leaves. Can you identify them? She has tried to google them but without much success.

Without an image, my best guess would be Irish Moss or Scotch Moss.

Here is an article with information about this ground cover.
