Q.Trimming Pussy Willows

Anonymous added on October 16, 2011 | Answered

I have a pussy willow bush that is huge. I have always cut it back to the ground in the fall. Realizing that I don’t get to enjoy the blooms that are on there now, would it be smarter to cut it back in the spring? Would it grow back over the summer to a bush?

It would be better to prune in late spring. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/pussy-willow/how-prune-pussy-willows.htm
