Q.Tilling a Garden

Anonymous added on April 22, 2014 | Answered

Is it best to till my whole garden area when planting tomatoes? My husband thinks we can till rows and not have to till the whole area? Thank you.

This is really more of a personal preference. Either way will work. For more info on tilling, including hand tilling, these articles should help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/soil-fertilizers/how-to-till-a-garden-tilling-your-soil.htm, https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/soil-fertilizers/double-digging-soil.htm
