Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comCan you tell me if I need to tie up my pole bean plant to the pole itself? I have one planted in a large pot with a pole in it, but it is not climbing up the pole. It’s getting large (maybe 2-3 feet now) and not climbing. Thanks for your help!

Yes, you may need to tie it to the pole or coax the vine around it. Here is more info that may help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/beans/pole-bean-supports.htm [1]
