Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.commy wife’s father passes earlier this year, and his widow is planning on removing his beloved fig tree. i would love nothing more than to take this tree home to live with us. i have plenty of space in my yard for it, and what it would mean to my wife is priceless.

Likely, a fig of that age will endure too much stress in the moving process. If the area that you plant to take it too has a different climate, then it will have an even harder time trying to adjust.
