Q.Blue Plumbago

Zone Zone 7 | stevensd added on July 11, 2015 | Answered

I had quite the surprise this spring — had planted blue plumbago in a large tub against a southern facing brick wall last summer. I’m in Oklahoma, Zone 7, and was advised to treat it as an annual. We had a pretty severe winter last year, so I figured it was a goner. But a few weeks ago I noticed the familiar leaves beginning to sprout and now the plant is in full bloom. I was so shocked that it survived!
