This plant used to be dark green and have thicker stronger more shiny leaves and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I thought

I might be over watering, I checked the roots and they’re not diseased or molded. The soil is bone dry but it seems like when I water it, it gets worse? The leaves have turned soft and gotten lighter in color, some even turning yellow, but dirt is very dry. I’ve pull off all of the bad leaves daily. Location has not changed. It sits in my kitchen window sill. Not to mention it used to have so many more leaves.

Kalanchoes do not need much water. Allow the soil to dry in between watering. Do not over water, as the roots can be prone to rot.
If the soil is bone dry though, this is too little water.
