The Tips of My Sunflower Leaves Are Turning Black

Some of the leaves are turning black and starting to curl. The plants look healthy otherwise. I’m watching the amount of water and I would say they are getting enough in the garden, but they are a little dry in the pots. I live in central Fl. (I was told Zone 9b)

I would increase the amount of water they are getting. You want to water them just as the top of the soil gets dry, but not dry all the way through.
