Q.The Romas Have Been Red (not Bright Red But “orangey” Red) For Over 2 Wks. And When Cut Have” Whitish” Flesh Inside.

Do I need to leave on the vine until bright red, then the flesh will become red? No sign of rot.

Most tomatoes are harvested when they are a mature green, then allowed to fully ripen indoors. Roma tomatoes, however, should stay on the vine till they are red from the bottom to the top.
