Q.reason why gardenia leaves turn yellow

abraham srour added on December 17, 2015 | Answered

Two of my gardenia plants (out of 5 pots on my 7th floor balcony that receives afternoon sun) have their leaves turn yellow. I don’t seem to be doing the right care, though I have fed them iron and lemon mainly. What do I need to do?

Gardenia plants are known to be finicky!
Yellowing leaves could be due to watering issues; to much or to little.
It also could be due to insects so inspect the plant carefully.
