Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.coms? I pulled out the dead leaf, but it was the newest one and that is where all the new leaves come from – will the plant still be able to produce new leaves? It’s been a couple weeks since I pulled out the dead leaf. Thanks so much

Unfortunately, your photos did not come through. I am unable to see the damage. It sounds like a fungal infection. Depending on which it is, it may or may not be treatable. Fungicides and proper care will be your best option.
