I’ve heard epsom salts can help, if so, how much and how often?

Epsom salts will only help if there are sulfur or magnesium deficiencies. These symptoms describe environmental stresses such as too much light, chilly temperatures, low humidity, or under and overwatering,

Be sure to fertilize with an orchid fertilizer to prevent deficiencies and to ensure that the correct nutrients are available to the plant.
