Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comhas holes at the bottom for drainage. i check with a water thermometer and the soil at the bottom of the container is wet but the rest of the pot is dry does the plant need more water? dont notice any diseases mentioned in some of the articles.

The potato plant should be allowed to dry down only to about 3 inches or so. Anything more than that is excessive, and will likely harm the plant.
