Jasmine Plants
Q.

The flowers keep falling off

Zone Illinois | Maurene added on May 6, 2014 | Answered

My Peacock Jasmine is a young plant. I just transplanted it into a 3 1/2 inch pot. I would like it to stay a houseplant. The flowers are so fragrant. The plant is beautiful, but the flowers keep falling off. What am I doing wrong? This is my first time working with a Peacock Jasmine. Hope you can help. Thanks!! :)

If your plant is only in 3 1/2" pot, it must still be very young. It may simply be trying to concentrate on growing roots before it decorates itself with flowers. Make sure it has plenty of light (the key to flowering plants indoors,) and not too much water. This article has more information: https://www.gardenguides.com/85620-peacock-jasmine-plant-care.html
