Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comone looks like it is dying. How long should a sylvester be in “shock” where it is completely brown half way up the tree (about 5-6 rows of branches up). I can understand a few rows but I think the tree is in trouble.

I would contact the landscaping company you used right away and have them come look at it. I would hope they gave you at least a year guarantee on trees and shrubs. Lethal Yellowing disease is a concern with palms in south Florida where there isn't a hard freeze.
