When it comes to growing vegetables do I need to concern myself with the temperature of my soil or the ambient air temperature for optimal growth?

If you are growing vegetables, I would keep it in the low 60s to low 70s F. at night. Most will do ok with air temps around 50-60 during day but need warmer soil temps of at least 60 F.
