Tangelos in Shade and Sand

For the last four years, our tangelos (Citrus County, FL) have failed to produce.  They are shaded to the west by bamboo and a huge flowering tree and the soil is sandy.  We use regular citrus fertilizer. Is there a booster type for growth?

First, you may want to consider pruning back both the bamboo and flowering tree to allow more light to get to the tangelo tree. Citrus trees require plenty of light to grow and produce. Also, you should probably amend your sandy soil for more optimal growing and add some phosphorous to the soil as well to help with blooming.
