Q.Tall Phlox have powdery mildew

Zone 54901 | Mary Jean Young added on September 3, 2017 | Answered

My tall phlox have had powdery mildew 2 years in a row now. I cut them all down and am wondering what to do to get rid of this fungus. Is it in the soil and should I treat it? I have a lot of phlox in my garden and just love them. This picture shows them when they were healthy.

Though Powdery Mildew is not pretty in the garden, it rarely harms the plants.
If you garden, at some point you will experience Powdery Mildew on plants.
