Q.takin clippings of jade

I have alway put the clipping in avery shallow water to root. Your articals said to dry them out?
I have had success in doing this. But that was some time ago maybe I am wrong?

Yes, drying out the cuttings for the end to heal over is the recommended method.
That's not to say you can get them to root skipping this step!
Jade can be one of the easiest succulents to propagate.
