I see that this site's Kristi Waterworth wrote an article about pests and yucca plants, however, it didn't address a pest's antics I'm dealing with. Once my yucca sends out stalks and begins blooming, ants begin climbing up the stalks and eating the blooms. These ants are tiny and seem to come from area hills. I tried ant spray, no luck. Short of sitting beside the plant and squishing them one by one, I would appreciate HELP!! Thank you so much!!
It's not likely that the ants are feeding on the plant, but rather on the sweet secretions being put out by a sucking insect pest, aphids, mealybugs or scale.
In Kristi's article in Yucca pests, she mentions ants in the section on mealy bugs.
Here's another article that addresses ant control:

If so, what is the best time of year?
Spring and Autumn will be the best times. You will have to look after the plant carefully in order to prevent transplant shock. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/foliage/yucca/transplanting-yucca-in-garden.htm
We moved to this house 4/5 years ago and it was half the size it is today. It has flowered for the first time this year.
That is a Yucca plant! This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/foliage/yucca/caring-for-and-landscaping-with-yuccas-outdoors.htm
I'm wanting to buy several of these plants, but not sure where to plant them.
According to the University of California, yucca plant is safe around pets and humans as far as ingesting plant parts.
Some varieties have sharp spikes so you may want to avoid those. Other than that, site your yuccas in full sun and dry areas.
Here is information on varieties of yucca:

Cactus soil ok? What about the ph? I live in the pinelands of South Jersey where the soil is on the acidic end. My plants were offshoots I received from a friend. Her plant is gorgeous. This I’m really hoping will revive.
Cactus soil is thinking in the right direction, though they don't really like acidic soil. You will have to "sweeten" it with dolomitic lime, and it should flourish.
This article will give you a better idea of what kind of soil these plants like: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/foliage/yucca/soil-for-yucca-plants.htm
My neighbor planted some yucca plants next to our boundary wall. I am worried that the plant will crack the wall when it grows bigger.
This is a legitimate concern. There are many species of yucca, some slim and delicate compared to the larger varieties which can develop massive, expansive root crowns at the base. I'm not sure which your neighbor has planted, but if its a large growing species, then your boundary wall may be in for trouble.
It sounds like you have 'pups'.
This article will help you.
