December 10, 2018A.It is possible to save and use watermelon seed next year. The link at the end explains the procedure. You won't get the same plant, however. Your watermelon is a hybrid, meaning it has 2 parent plants. Certified ExpertA.Without testing your soil, you won't really know what you need to add. The instructions will likely tell you to add based on how much is lacking.

June 8, 2019A.We do not recommend certain products, but any bloom formula will do. You will need higher phosphorus and potassium levels for fruit production, so anything with high P and K values, with just a touch of N will be perfect, no matter the brand.

My best guess from the description will be a Boxelder Beetle, or one of the many "Squashbug" beetles.

Certified ExpertA.That is a good clue to the actual formation of the seeds! That will indicate that the seed space is already "programmed" into the genetics. Since they are designed by nature to reproduce, it would be safe to speculate that it will still imitate the process.
Now we get to how these seedless watermelons are produced...
They are hybridized in such a way that their genetic ploidy (their number of genes) do not match. This results in sterile offspring, not unlike a mule.
