I have been given a cheese plant in a pot for outdoors. I notice the leaves are turning very pale and yellow. Am I treating it wrong?
Was it outside to begin with? If not, it may be getting too much sun too soon. Plants need to be gradually accustomed to the bright light outside. And Swiss cheese plant should be in bright light, but not full sun.
If your area gets near freezing, be sure to protect the plant or bring it indoors.
It also could be over or underwatered. Here are its care requirements:

Unfortunately, your photos did not come through. I am unable to see the damage. Keep in mind that the plant gets its name from the appearance that the leaves have. Make sure that this is not the normal "Swiss Cheese" patterning.

Just noticed something growing on one of 5he leaves of my swiss cheese plant. I keep it outside on a north facing balcony.
Unfortunately, your photo did not come through. I am unable to see what is attached to your plant. In the meantime, these articles will offer help with your plant:

It’s a Swiss cheese plant
This can be done, occasionally, but doing so too often will lead to soil infections or microbe buildup. This is, likely, what you are smelling.
I would opt for pre-made fertilizers if you wish to avoid the smell. Alternatively, you can compost the milk tea as long as you add plenty of brown material to absorb it.

Hello, I have taken 2 cuttings off my plant already and have 2 to 3 aerial roots growing but wondering if I should leave as it might make the plant look too chopped? What would you suggest? And if so where should I take the cuttings. I guess you need a leaf like my other 2 cuttings with them always or is that not so? Thanks
The aerial roots will grow into the soil so it's not necessary to remove them. They help stabilize the plant.
