A tiny spotted black patterned is appearing on the new growth. The leaf will darken entirely and fall off. The plant still looks healthy.

My Swedish ivy is currently in the pot I purchased it in. The pot is 6 inches tall & 5 inches in diameter. The plant is growing fabulously but I don't know if this pot is big enough to keep the ivy in for awhile. How will I know when this pot is too small, & does the next pot need to be so deep? I've been looking for Swedish ivy for over ten years & want to keep this one healthy.
