I purchase a TRACHELOSPERMUM PINK SHOWERS (STAR JASMINE) and was wondering if it should be grown in an ALKALINE or ACID Soil as my soil is VERY ALKALINE and on the CHALKY SIDE. I have noticed some of the leaves on my plant have gone slightly yellow. also could you recommend a fertiliser which I could feed it with When I planted it I dug in some CHICKEN MANURE PELLETS. The only instructions that came with my plant says plant in fertile well drained soil. It does seem to be sprouting new leaves and some of the older leaves have dropped off I haven't supplied a PHOTOGRAPH as I do not know how to do this Many thanks
Jasmine isn't too picky about soil, as long as it's well-draining and somewhat moist. These two articles have some excellent info on why this happens and what to do.

My jasmine has black spots on a few leaves & little black egg looking things underneath other leaves. It hasn’t grown any since last fall. I’ve used Bioadvanced 3 in 1 insect & mite control, as well as soapy water on the leaves once. Please help!
I can't quite make out what those are, but they are certainly some insect or egg. Unfortunately, one application of pesticide will not work, typically. Be sure to follow the instructions on the packaging (some have specific instructions for specific plants) to make sure that it is used properly. Likely, it will take a few applications to take care of the issue. I wouldn't be too worried about the slow growth, though. This is typical for the plant.

I was wondering why my JASMINE PLANT which has a number of buds on seems to have a number of buds drop to the ground I have been fertilising with EPSOM SALTS as I know the plant prefers an acid soil The plant seems to be very slow to grow with not a lot of leaves although the leaves I do have are a nice green colour and not yellow Could you please tell me if there is another fertiliser that I can use to feed it with Many thanks
You only need to fertilize this plant twice a year. This article should give you all the info you need:

We just purchased a home in Mariposa, Ca. a few months ago. A BEAUTIFUL STAR JASMINE covers one wall in our entryway. Recently I have noticed a few leaves with "areas of white" on them. I took some of these leaves to my local Gardenside Nursery. They thought it might be showing signs of burn. It has been very hot here the last couple of months. I put an umbrella in the entryway to help with some heat. Unfortunately, I have recently noticed more damaged leaves. The plant is still putting out new "runners", but overall the plant is not looking as healthy as when we moved in. I am not an accomplished gardener by any means, so certainly need some guidance. This plant is very mature and ads so much beauty to our entryway to our home. I am attaching a few photos. I would certainly love any advice you can give me. Thank you in advance for your time.
We didn't get the photos but these articles should help:
